- Speaking -

We at Women Confidence Builders & Women Talk Construction are so thankful that you are here! We are excited to be able to now offer the opportunity for us to speak at events. We truly desire to share actionable, engaging, and unforgettable journeys of women and minorities in non-traditional roles with the audience.

Why us? We have already had several opportunities to speak at events and had the honor of partnering with companies such as BMW, OshKosh, etc. Plus, we are passionate about what we do, and we do it to help others. Our reward is the amazing feedback that we receive from the folks that we are able to meet and network with during our events.

- Mentoring -

Mentors provide support, guidance, advice, and help in whatever capacity they can. When you have a mentor, you gain immediate access to someone you can trust who has experience in the same career path that you are following. This can be priceless! Nothing comes close to the advice that a mentor (someone with experience who has learned from their own mistakes) can share with you.  A mentor can certainly help build your network. A mentor will introduce you to others in the industry to help you “get your foot in the door”.   

 With a mentor, mentees benefit from feedback. Mentors can provide feedback for anything a mentee does, from writing a cover letter for a job or asking a mentor about how they reacted in a trying situation. All of this feedback combines to make the mentee a better and more confident person who is capable of overcoming challenges alone.

 Mentors help you step out of your comfort zone and embrace new opportunities and challenges you may not have previously considered.  They keep the best interests of their mentee in mind and serve as a role model in their life or career.
